This is a well written devotional and it helped me through a lot of hard days struggling with cancer. I am now buying it for others who are struggling in the same way. I highly recommend this book if you want to give a gift that will be a blessing to others.

That Thing Called Cancer

Life was going along just fine until one day I received a phone call telling me I had that thing called cancer. The next year included the removal of a lung lobe, challenging medical complications and chemotherapy. A few months ago I finished all that and gratefully began resuming 'life before cancer'. I have discovered, however, that this new life includes some unique challenges also. 50 DAYS OF HOPE came into my hands last month and GOD has used it to help me in so many ways!
This book gets real-down to ground zero-where the grief, fear, anger and frustration are. It is filled with scriptures, stories and insights that help connect strugglers with the only true source of HOPE.

Powerful little book.

I lost my brother to cancer in 1997 and was with him as he took his last breath. There are so many moments that I will never forget and many memories I can never get past so when I got the opportunity to review this book, 50 Days of Hope, Daily Inspiration for your Journey through Cancer, I was a little apprehensive, but something inside said, get it, read it, you need it, so I requested it.
I have never had such a little book evoke so much emotion, but Lynn Eib gives Hope and encouragement and left me wishing that this little book had been around for my brother's journey with cancer. With uplifting stories from cancer survivors and oncology patients, who know first hand what it feels like, this book gives such a positive message. 50 daily inspirations that can encourage and help in the understanding of God's plan and how His word can help to heal.
