very happy with this bible

As a semi-new believer i'm so glad I found this online. I saw other reviews saying the lettering was too light but I didn't notice it at all no is it difficult to read. This bible has ALOT of cool extra facts ( which many are left open leaving room for differences in opinion, character descriptions (full pages), maps of journeys (also old test. maps), charts of parables by Jesus, disciple names, letters written in prison. I never write reviews but felt nudge to do it on this one. I must say tho I wish I grabbed the New American standard version (if they have one) for more greek/ hebrew translation. Nonetheless it's a great bible and would recommend it for people wanting the facts of the gospel accounts in an easy to read manner.

makes Bible "real" for my husband

This was a gift for my husband, he is very happy with the way the study guide/modern applications are included. He has never really "enjoyed" bible reading because he felt it was hard to relate it back to his own life (he was not raised in a church going/bible reading home)
I have bought him a few bibles since we married 7 yrs ago (actually first one was when we were first engaged) he has embraced bible reading daily but never really seemed to relate so I began my search yet again for a bible that would bring the word to live for him... Finally SUCCESS!!!
He is finally able to relate his daily reading to his life, his job, or marriage, and parenting

Tiny print!!

While I love the cover of this Bible and how nice my brother's name looked engraved on it, I was disappointed in how small the print is. I have good eye sight so I can still see it fine but it is very tiny print. Had I known that I would not have ordered this particular Bible.
